Creating and maintaining sustainable gardens can help alleviate the pressure on the Earth's ecosystems by working with nature to provide clean air and water, fertile soils, wildlife habitat, and other essential ecosystem services.

Landscapes for Life is a 5 part series based on the principles of the  Sustainable Sites Initiative™ program (SITES™), the nation’s first rating system for sustainable landscapes.

Anoka County Extension Master Gardener Lynda Ellis will be leading this workshop.  Students will learn how to apply sustainable gardening practices to their home landscapes in a series of five, two hour classes, held at Bunker Hills Activity Center, 550 Bunker Lake Blvd NW, Andover, MN.  Material fee is $20.
